2024雲科大AI賽車 2024 YunTech AI Racing Competition

一、活動緣起：

為提升雲科大學生對人工智慧之認識，並鼓勵更多學生進入人工智慧之領域，特舉辦此競賽。透過此次的競賽，學生可以熟悉目前業界廣泛運用的雲端運算平台服務，瞭解人工智慧的相關技術，以及熱門的AI自駕車之應用。

三、競賽規則：

(一)   報名期間：即日起至2024年11月15日止。

(二)   組隊方式：身分須為雲科大在學學生，每組1至4人，報名時須上傳學生證正反面照片。經核可後由主辦單位發邀請郵件至報名者所留電子郵件信箱，即可開始使用AWS Academy雲端運算平台。

(三)   積分方式：共進行二次線上賽車積分賽，每次賽車前十名可獲得積分，第一至十名之積分依序如下: 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1分。

(四)   名次計算：暖身賽(11月16日至19日)不列入積分，依兩次積分賽(11月20日及21日)的合計總積分進行排名，積分數相同時，依所花費之賽車總時間進行排名，時間愈短者勝出。

(五)   競賽限制：本競賽僅能以自己的 Reinforcement Learning model 或是 AWS DeepRacer 控制台提供 的Sample model進行比賽。不得分享或使用別人分享之model。

四、競賽獎勵：

第一名：10,000元等值面額禮券及獎狀一紙；

第二名：8,000元等值面額禮券及獎狀一紙；

第三名：6,000元等值面額禮券及獎狀一紙；

第四名：3,000元等值面額禮券及獎狀一紙；

第五名：1,000元等值面額禮券及獎狀一紙；

第六~十名：200元等值面額禮券及獎狀一紙。

五、注意事項：

主辦單位保留調整本競賽活動各項細則之權利。本活動由基本補助一經費補助。

 

  1. Purpose of the Event: 

    To enhance students' understanding of artificial intelligence at YunTech and encourage more students to enter the AI field. Through this competition, students can become familiar with widely-used cloud computing platform services, understand AI-related technologies, and explore the applications of popular AI autonomous vehicles.

  3. Competition Rules:
    • Registration Period: From now until November 15, 2024.
    • Team Formation: Participants must be current YunTech students, with teams consisting of 1 to 4 members. A photo of the front and back of student IDs must be uploaded during registration. Upon approval, the organizing unit will send an invitation email to the email address provided, allowing participants to use the AWS Academy cloud computing platform.
    • Scoring Method: There will be two online racing events for scoring. The top ten racers in each event will receive points, distributed as follows: 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, and 1 point for first to tenth place, respectively.
    • Ranking Calculation: The warm-up race (November 16-19) does not count towards the total score. Rankings will be determined by the combined points from the two scoring races (November 20 and 21). If there is a tie, the ranking will be based on the total race time, with the shorter time prevailing.
    • Competition Restrictions: Participants may only use their own Reinforcement Learning model or the Sample model provided by the AWS DeepRacer console. Models cannot be shared or used if obtained from other participants.

  4. Prizes:
    • First Place: Gift voucher worth NT$10,000 and a certificate.
    • Second Place: Gift voucher worth NT$8,000 and a certificate.
    • Third Place: Gift voucher worth NT$6,000 and a certificate.
    • Fourth Place: Gift voucher worth NT$3,000 and a certificate.
    • Fifth Place: Gift voucher worth NT$1,000 and a certificate.
    • Sixth to Tenth Place: Gift voucher worth NT$200 and a certificate.
  5. Notes: The organizers reserve the right to adjust the competition details as necessary. The event is supported by Basic Funding Assistance I.
